You can also add other items to the order e.g. Direct Mount Hanger or Shimano Bottom Bracket.  You will also be asked to add the shipping method as well.  If you have not told us which seat post you require please contact us.

EXCEED is a fully integrated aerodynamic frame, fork and handlebar combination which has been designed to slice through the air with the minimum of watts from the rider.  And when the road heads up this lightweight RDC version will not hold you back.

  • Two aerodynamic frame options - standard and the lighter RDC
  • High performance composite processes to ensure stiff, light and compliant frame
  • One piece handlebar included to ensure the lowest system drag
  • Fully integrated cable routings for both mechanical and electronic shifting

TECHNOLIGES

HPC - High Performance Composite

It is not just the material but how you derive the path from setting product goals to achieving them.

The HPC process starts with a high-quality carbon fibre material. We have development engineers with over 10 years of experience with this material and they set stringent product targets to aim for.  Then we use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) which is the virtual modelling of stress within the frame and combine this with laboratory tests and road tests.  From this we optimise the combination of carbon lay ups, tube cross-section, and geometric features to create a balanced solution in terms of rigidity, compliance, and weight.

ATS - Asymmetric Transmission Structure

The frame has several areas which are asymmetric - bottom bracket, fork, chain stay and bottom of the seat tube.  By using different tube types, material lay ups in the higher stress areas the SEKA team have managed to balance the forces between left and right side of the frame and fork.  This improves the overall transmission efficiency and helps build a more stable and balanced structure.

RDC - Race Day Combatant

This is the lightest version of the EXCEED by utilising different carbon fibres and lay ups to further reduce the weight of the overall system by 178g (medium frame).  Due to the high levels of optimisation this frame is only available with full internal routing.

Aerodynamics

The NACA tube shapes have been brought together by a team of talented engineers continuously optimising through the use of CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software.  This allows many virtual simulations to be run before the first prototype frame is produced.

Frame strength

By optimising the material usage and layups the weight can be kept low but still ensuring it exceeds the stringent requirements of the ISO standards.  For example one of the ISO4210-6 tests requires 100,000 cycles of 120N at 120 times per minute and this exceeded by 20%.  The optimisation results in a head tube stiffness of 143N/mm and a bottom bracket stiffness of 215N/mm which results in more power from each pedal stroke going to the road.

One piece handlebar

The frame is delivered with a one piece handlebar which includes fully internal routing for mechanical and electronic shifting.  Full integration contributes to the watt saving aerodynamic ability of the bike but also makes it look very clean from a purely aesthetic perspective.  The one piece handlebar is only 325g in weight and available in 10 sizes which means everyone can find the right fit.  An optional CNC machined bike computer mount is available for continue the clean lines.

FGS - Functional Geometry System

We combined our knowledge of ergonomics and bike fitting into the frame geometry.  By analysing the characteristics and habits of most cyclists we have optimised the cockpit space.  The larger the stack to reach value the larger angle of the handlebar, so you can abandon the extra stem spacers, giving more rigidity to the head tube (and it looks simpler and cleaner as well).  The principals of the FGS will help you to better realise  "human to bike integration" and that results in comfort and speed.

The geometry table shows the 5 sizes XS to XL.  With 2 fork lengths creates 2 different rake angles and and some careful engineering the handling of all the sizes has been optimised to be very close.  To further improve your fit there are 13 handlebar options (-8 degrees) and 2 seat post options (0mm and -15m).

      The meaning of Cycling100

In traditional road cycling, a 100-mile ride is called a "century ride" and the ability to ride 100 miles in a single ride is a sign of advancement. And 100 kilometres is called a "metric century". Whether it's 100 kilometres or miles, the number 100 means a lot. And that's the inspiration behind Cycling100.

Cycling100 is a new entrant into Europe that curates high-end bike components made by the best Chinese manufacturers such as wheels, frames and clothing. Cycling100 is not just another e-commerce site, we are driven by a community of professional road cyclists to offer European riders unique and competitive bike parts. Our selection model is strictly driven by a complete quality control process, extensive product validation and access to the best partners across China.

In China, Cycling100 has enabled more than 200,000 road cyclists across the country to enjoy nature and roads through the products we provide.  This success and the continued innovation in China means we are now delighted to offer our high-quality products to all countries. Our passion will accompany more road cycling enthusiasts who wish to equip themselves with affordable and high-performance bike parts.

      Road cycling

Our key difference in the market: We are not a western brand made in China. We are selecting the very best Chinese bike brands that are conceived, designed and made in China, this unique advantage allows us to offer highly competitive and affordable products.

Since the beginning of the 20th century, Chinese manufacturers have been working with carbon fibre to make a wide variety of high technology parts for industries like automotive, cycling and aerospace. Our brand of carbon wheels VORTEX and road bike frame SEKA are examples of how that manufacturing knowledge combined with skilled design and engineering we can deliver the objective of no compromise between aerodynamics, performance and durability.

Choosing Cycling100 means choosing durable quality at a price that defies the competition. Equip yourself with components at the best price that will guarantee comfort and race-focused performance.

      Our 3 point charter

      1. Strict Selection process

We strictly select the products offered using our team, all of whom are from the cycling profession and have a passion for their sport.  Our products have been personally put through their paces by this team over an extended period of time, and some of our key products have been tested and reviewed with the cycling media.  We are looking for performance, innovation and passion from these brands before we start the next phase with them.

      2. Focus on Quality

We audit each one of our brands to ensure that they have a quality control team with strict processes in place. For example: all our bike wheels and carbon frames must undergo multiple rounds of inspection and control by our internal quality team (from the factory to the warehouse) before they are despatched. All our brands must meet international cycling industry standards and testing.

      3. Customer Satisfaction

Because we place great importance on the trust of our customers your satisfaction is the key metric we measure ourselves by.   From choosing the right brands to the focus on quality and then choosing quality logistics partners we will ensure that your goods reach you quickly and safely.  Finally we don’t say goodbye after delivery, we have a customer service team who can answer and solve any questions or issues you have before or after purchase.
